For a product shot, I go with the one you chose, but I really do like the almost abstract the clsoer view takes, and really like the blue toning. Great job with the lighting on both...
I prefer the one you submitted. I like the clarity and completeness of it...... it's a nice, easy, finished, restful shot. The other has more tension in it...not a bad thing, but I just like this one. ;)
